Inktober 2016: The Final Drawings

(Above: sometimes it's just fun to draw some character in an unlikely situation. I mean, what if it was Alfred the butler's day off and Batman was really jonesing for some beer and cookies? The dude would have to get in the Batmobile and go to the dang grocery himself. Actually, this would make for a good comic book series. "The Everyday Stuff Superheroes Do" would be the name and it would have Spider-Man in the laundromat, Black Widow in the DMV line, Iron Man waiting for an oil change, etc.  Ink and watercolor wash, with no planning or pencil foundation.)

Here are the last of the drawings I did for "inktober2016," a fun free draw inky just-for-fun event held every year. Come and join next year if you would like!

These originally appeared on my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts each day.

"If you take the pic with your drawing tools, then it gets more hits," is what I was told. Well, I don't know, but in some of these photos you can see what I use and the scale of the drawings. Again, these are just brief sketches that sometimes just start out with a doodle and I just build from there. All in ink. Not much planning.
